FIRST STEPS
DISCOVER SCUBA DIVINGWhen you discover the underwater world, you’ll discover the thrill of adventure, freedom and peace whilst breathing underwater. It’s a whole new world where gravity is a thing of the past, where you can “fly” weightlessly through incredible scenery. Only divers can know how all this feels.

COURSES FOR BEGINNERS
SCUBA DIVERThe PADI Scuba Diver programme is the pre-entry certificate, which is ideal for holidaymakers or those planning to have just a few dives per year. The course includes: three theory sessions, three enclosed water sessions (in a pool or lagoon) and two sea dives. With the PADI Scuba Diver certificate, you can dive to a depth of up to 12 metres, and on your next diving trip or holiday, you will be able to dive under the direct supervision of a Divemaster, an Assistant Instructor, an Instructor, or a PADI Professional of a higher level.

OPEN WATER DIVER
The Open Water Diver certificate is your ticket to great fun and adventure. During the course, you will learn the basic concepts and techniques of scuba diving, including diving equipment and techniques. As a certified Open Water Diver, you can dive with another person holding the same or a higher certificate without the supervision of an instructor to a depth of up to 18 metres.

CONTINUE THE ADVENTURE
ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVERIf adventure is what you’re looking for, you’ve found it! Our Diving centre offers the Advanced Open Water Diver programme, which will enable you to achieve the certificate in five dives. To do so, you will need to complete the deep dive, the navigation dive and three “adventure” dives. The five dives will give you greater experience and skill to build on in your future diving career, together with a better knowledge of the underwater environment.

RESCUE DIVER
Learning to prevent and deal with emergencies is the theme of the PADI Rescue Diver Programme. Our Diving centre offers the chance to extend your knowledge and skills to become a Rescue Diver, with a straightforward and enjoyable course. The programme is a genuinely important step forward for your diving experience and career.
The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to prevent underwater accidents, both major and minor, and, where appropriate, to manage them using a range of suitable techniques. What you will learn will develop not only your skill levels but also your confidence, and it will set you in good stead for the next steps to achieving PADI Master Scuba Diver and PADI Divemaster status.

Specialist and professional courses are also available up to IDC Staff Instructor level.
