THE RESORT – BEACHES AND SWIMMING POOLS

Spanning 700 metres of the finest white sands that the Wadi el Gimal natural park has to offer, the resort beach is yours to enjoy. Following the natural lie of the land, we have 4 broad bays equipped with 350 sun umbrellas each shading two sun loungers. The grand scale of the beach and the comprehensive facilities available ensure that all our guests can have their own spot by the sea at any time of the day.

The sea opposite the resort is part of the Wadi el Gimal protected marine park, and to help keep it pure and pristine, removing sand, shells or corals is not permitted.

Two natural pools within the reef, one with a sandy bottom and the other with a corally bottom, provide a perfect opportunity to admire the marvellous sea floors in the Red Sea, using only simple snorkelling gear.

More ambitious visitors can go beyond the barrier on a marked route, to see the natural spectacle that a Red Sea marine park has to offer.

The centre of the village has four circular swimming pools covering a full 3,000 square metres, with a total perimeter of 250 metres.

Our youngest guests have their very own pool (at only 50 cm deep) with an area of 130 square metres.

There is a heated pool in the winter season, which is 1.5 metres deep and spans 530 square metres in area.

The main swimming pool has a maximum depth of 2 metres and spans 2,200 square metres in area, measuring 73 metres across the diagonal.

There is a relaxation pool, located between the two main pools, complete with hydro-massage.

The poolside area is equipped with 90 sun umbrellas and sun loungers, together with the Pool Bar and a large entertainment/activity area.
