LUXOR

A full day to discover the fascinating world of ancient Egypt.

Arrive in Luxor by luxury coach and visit the most important spots in ancient Thebes.

We retrace the steps of the ancient Egyptians among the imposing temples of the Pharaohs, such as those at Karnak and Luxor, crossing the Nile to head for the colossi of Memnon and the tombs of the Valley of the Kings.

ASWUAN AND EDFU

Aswan, famed for its sand dunes cascading down to the banks of the Nile, is one of the most folklore-rich cities in the whole country.

We will visit the Temple of Isis on the island of Philae, known as the Temple of Love, and move on to admire the High Dam that has created the largest artificial lake in the world, Lake Nasser.

After this, the itinerary takes in Edfu and a look at the best-preserved temple in the whole of Egypt: the Temple of Horus.

SHALATEEN

An excursion to explore uncontaminated, virgin landscapes and the authentic traditions of a genuine Camel Market. We travel through the desert to reach the market of Shalateen, on the Egypt-Sudan border, to experience camel-trading and the haggling that this has involved since time immemorial.

The return leg involves a relaxation stop for a dip at a mangrove beach.

WADI EL GEMAL

We make for a Bedouin tent inside the magnificent Wadi el Gimal park, and after a karkadé (hibiscus tea) we set out on an atmospheric dromedary ride, culminating in a stop for a snack to taste the typical local flavours in another Bedouin tent.
